Post by: midoo on November 04, 2011, 06:23:12 pm
hello:)
i have an i5 2500k that i bought recently to replace my 2400.
the problem is the maximum digit i can enter in the multiplier in the bios is 37x and it doesnt accept me entering anything higher.it says the maximum 37 and minimum 16.

i tried everything from searching and asking others and updating my bios several times but nothing works.
my turbo is off and real time disabled and still i cant overclock my new i5:(

please tell me what to do.

Hi

Maybe a few more details of the rest of your hardware might help throw some light on it. Try using QFlash to update the BIOS to the latest version and make sure that youi disable the "Keep DMI Data" on the QFlash homepage.
