Hi!

I want to overclock my new i5 2500k with the Hyper 212+ cooler . I've been looking for days on google finding a guide on a way to adjust VCORE voltage on this motherboard. FOUND NOTHING  :'(

An overclock between 4.3 to 4.5 Ghz would make me very happy :) Just by applying the multiplier doesn't help after 4.3 Ghz... And Battlefield 3 freezes at random times probably lacking proper voltage...

I upgraded the mobo Bios to F6 and still no option for that...

Seems every mobo have that option except this one...

Thanks Gloup_Gloup,

I checked it out. Basically it's for a P67 Motherboard... not a Z68

The P67A-UD7 mobo has Vcore voltage control... which is the point of my question :)

Awesome guide though!  :D

I'll try playing with the Dynamic Vcore (DVID) and see if it helps...

Hi again,

First : I do not have your motherboard and your cpu.
So I am not sure. But I give to you a general infos.

You set the dynamic Vcore and use the touch Bios to read vcore voltage.

The DVID Vcore on that board should have + 0.000 to +0.640.

So at +0.000 that is stock vcore and anything over that is a + increase.

When you set dynamic vcore on auto it increase on it's own.

So now you can take it off auto and try for 4.8GHz at 1.39v vcore, if you want this.
Otherwise, choose 4.6 is correct. More sure.

It is much better to mount gradually. And check with the software.
If you want to give it a whirl, start with adding 1 multi at a time and see how much vcore you need to add.

Now use HWiNFO64, AIDA64 and CPU-Z for check temp and other infos. CPU-Z gives the VTTIO voltage.

If you go to over 1.39, it is at your risk, for cpu and motherboard... So make attention.

I'm currently testing right now with a Cooler master 212 +

Driver San Francisco (random other game)

Actually, my DVID Vcore is at +.090 and runs at 1.412v MAX

I'll keep on testing to see if it's rock solid :)
