Basicly The computer a Intel i3 530 2.93ghz
H55M-S2H
Running with the i3 Intergraded grapics card
4gb ram
The basic was I built this computer for my nephew. For the Holidays. I am getting him a Asus Ati 6770 Grapics card. But the manual at my Sister House. When installing the New grapisc card. What do I need to do on the H55M-S2H motherboard.
I think it go into the Bios. Disable the Onboard Grapics Card. Turn off the computer Unplug it. Install the Ati grapics card. Install the newest drivers. I should be set?
One area I unsure of is the Intergraded grapics card drivers. Do I need to uninstall the i3 530 grapics drivers?

Hi and welcome to the forum,
You can download a copy of your motherboard manual from the Gigabyte technology website here:
http://uk.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3523#manual
It would be a good idea to download a copy of your manual before you proceed any further.
When you have downloaded the manual turn to page 46 and you will be in business!!! ;)
Configure the BIOS to PEG for PCIE X16 slot for your Ati 6770 Graphics card.
UPDATE
Use the latest drivers from the Asus website for your graphics card:
http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/AMD_Series/Radeon_HD_6770
Hope this helps

Hay ty teknology9
It looks look to be cut and paste. I was just worried about intergraded vs pci E cards conflicts. It looks like if needed It can be use to run a second monitor.
Frist computer I built was in the 1980s when Irq where a pain in the rear. Plus Add dos and win 3.1 to the mix.

??? ??? ???
Just install your graphics card into the top x16 slot and then in the BIOS select PEG so that it knows where to look for the graphics card.
Don't forget to insert the extra power cables into the end of the card if it requires them.
Install the Catalyst driver suite you can forget about any drivers already installed for your onboard graphics option.
