Acquaintance was looking over my recent new build and mentioned that the H67A-UD3H-B3 bios is F2. He said that I needed to update my bios to the current version F6. I have always had a policy if no problems then leave it alone but then I have never had a machine like this one so I am not sure. Should I update the bios and if so what would be the best method?

Hi and welcome.
I would have to say I work on the same criterior as you "If it ain't broke don't fix it"!
If there is nothing wrong with the system and there is nothing as far as you are aware of that you want out of the new BIOS files then why bother. I must admit that sometimes I will update a board even after running it for a long time with no problems just because there is a newer BIOS that has been out for a long time and well tested and I feel that the running BIOS is rather out of date.
I would say don't rush into it if you are happy with the way things are now. If later on you decide to make the upgrade then do so using QFlash and make sure that you do it in a couple of increments. Also on the QFlash home page disable the Keep DMI Data option.

Gut says don't do it so I had better listen especially since I cannot find exactly how or if the update could benefit my machine. Thanks everybody.

Probably just as well and it is something that you can always do in the future if necessary. ;)
