Title: UD5 fan header, power rating
Post by: jonj678 on October 28, 2009, 08:29:02 pm
Hello guys, a fairly specific question here. What current are the 12V fan headers on the UD5 rated up to? I'd like to 1/run two normal fans in parallel off one, and 2/run a 38mm san ace from one.

It seems more sensible to check than to plug the fans in and hope for the best, and I can't seem to find this information online. I'm hoping by asking the forums the response will be helpful to others, so I'm trying here before emailing technical support.

Thank you

Jon

Hi,
Email tech support for a definative answer,
Why don't you run the 2 fans from a 4 pin molex connector, just to be on the safe side?
