Hey guys, I noticed that there is a news Beta BIOS. I am currently running the F5b Beta and all seems fine. Is there any reason to move to the latest Beta version? Does it only help the Marvell controller if in a RAID configuration? Also what does ISRT stand for?
Thanks

Hi X-58-G1-Assassin, ;)
Well, normaly it is not good idea to install a Beta Bios.
Because is not a final official Bios.
Few persons install a Beta Bios, for participate with a Bios's develpment group. Is called Beta Test...
So if you accept the risk of complications, problems or anythings frustrations about operating computer with a Beta Bios... ok install it.
But, my recommendation is No install a Beta Bios. Never install Beta Bios. This is clear?
Flash a Bios is not a game, this is very risky.
Come again here for more comments....

Hi
I think you made an error there when you typed ISRT. I think you should have put IRST which stands for Intel Rapid Storage Technology and is their newer system that took over from Matrix.
THe beta BIOSes are fine if you download them from the Gigabyte website as they will be almost final releases by the time they are put on there. But as with anything.......if it ain't broke don't fix it.
