Post by: AsoN on December 26, 2011, 02:42:05 pm
Does XMS3 2x4GB fit in the blue slots with the Cooler Master Hyper TX3?

Hi there,

it shouldn't be a problem as the XMS is usually Low Profile RAM.

I need to remove my cooler becuase it only mm. I'm using the Crucial BallistiX right now which is much lower then XMS.

The Corsair logo on top is blocking.

Well, as there is only 2mm height difference between the two modules what exactly is the XMS RAM catching on?
If it is the cooling fan can you not raise it slightly to allow the RAM to fit? This is what I have had to do with the Noctua NH-D14 cooler I use.
