Title: AMP not showing in bios F7 bios
Post by: Nightrain on January 06, 2012, 02:02:04 am
Ive updated my bios on the  UD7 to f7 and dont see this AMP option in the advance section in the bios. I tried reinstalling the bios again and still no show. Ive seen other posted screen shots showing on theirs. What does APM do and does it affect overclocking? Since its not showing up in my bios ,does that mean APM its on?

Hi there,

sorry to say this but I for one do not have a clue what you are talking about here!  ???

Any chance of posting back with some BIOS screenshots or links (before and after update) to show what you think is now missing or a better description of your problem.

Hi

Like absic says you haven't made a lot of sense there but I am assuming that you are referring to Advanced Power Management when you say APM ?

Please make your query a bit more clear and hopefully members will be able to help you then. It would help if you said what motherboard you are talking about too.

Sorry, yes  the Advanced Power Management, it doesn't show up in my bios. Im running on the 990fxa-UD7 (bios F7) with a 1090T. Is this mode automatically on since its not showing up and i cant disable it? Does it affect overclocking?
