Hello
I'm running 2 GTX 460 1gb in SLI. When examining the details of both cards with 'Nvidia inspector' (tab overclocking), i notice that one card is running at 1.012V, while the other runs at 1.000V. Is this normal or is one of the cards malfunctioning?
Thanks in advance

Hi
How have you got the cards connected to the power supply unit ?
If they are on seperate 12v rails (assuming your PSU has seperate rails) it might be a slight discrepancy between the two outputs. If you PSU is of a single 12v rail type then obviously that couldn't be the answer.
How are you measuring the input voltage ?

Hi
I'm not measuring the voltage input, but i'm rather looking at the bios settings of the card through the 'Nvidia inspector' utility.
In the 'overclocking' tab, i can change core clocks, voltage etc.
I just noticed that one card is set at 1.000V, while the other is set at 1.012V. While i can change this value with Nvidia inspector, changes aren't saved when rebooting. Maybe i should flash my card?

Are both cards using the same firmware ? If not that could be a reason. You could update them both anyway assuming there is a newer version available.

Used Easy Boost to determine the Bios version: both have the same version (FZ0)
Used Nvidia Inspector: both have the same version as well, but description is different: 70.04.1B.00.02
I already tried to flash the bios of both cards using the bios file of a GV-N460OC-1GI, but to no avail! Getting the error 'version mismatch'.
I'm certain it's a GV-N460OC-1GI (no revision), still have the boxes on the attic.
Tried flashing the card with Easy Boost and @Bios.
Maybe i can backup the bios of one of the cards and use it to flash the other? If only i knew the correct/standard voltage for a GV-N460OC-1GI...
Thanks for your help btw!

So...
I tried again flashing both cards...
Using Easy Boost:
- Tried autoflash: it tells me there is an update (version F3). Flashing card results in message 'Flash bios file fail!'
- Tried manual flashing using it's own back-up file: message 'Flash bios file fail!'
Using @Bios:
- Downloaded F3 version for the card from Gigabyte and tried flashing: error message 'The BIOS version not match!!!'
-Tried flashing using its own backup: message 'Bios version is the same' -> nothing happens
Seriously, what do i have to do to get this Bios flashed ???
This is mind boggling!
