Title: How to update GA-880GM-USB3L motherboard BIOS for FX 4100

Hi, I just recieved brand new parts for my new computer build the other day. Fx 4100, ga-880hm usb3l motherboard, 8gb team elite SDRAM and an epower 500 watt power supply. I put it all together and attempted to turn it on. But I got nothing on my monitor ( the motherboard has integrated graphics). So I went on to Gigabytes website and it told me to update the bios to FD to support my FX processor. So, how do I do that? I do have a cd drive and HD installed, but I don't know how to update the bios without any onscreen help. Thanks!

Hi and welcome.

You will need to install a supported processor in order to run the BIOS update. The other option is to take the board to a local computer store to have it done. Usaully not very much cost.
