Title: ISRT 10.5
Post by: EYOB on January 22, 2012, 05:00:46 pm
Anyone know where I can find it? I've tried 10.6 and 10.8. Not sure if I'm missing something or what, but I can't find the acceleration option for my HDD/SSD RAID 0 setup.

It is normally readilly available from the Intel site. It took over from the old matrix storage technology. It probably didn't help if you were looking for ISRT as it should be IRST Intel Rapid Storage Technology.

Hi Dark Mantis,  ;)

I agree your infos, Dark Mantis... but if, is not posible to find it on Intel site ... I add other site... scuse if not a Gigabyte site...  ;)
So normaly I find a sofware in official web site.. but in this case... I do not find... on Intel site... and I choose a confiance web site  (not a geek or scrap or warez web site)  :P

Hi Dark Mantis,

On this subject, I do not have this program installed on my computer, my question is, is it a necessity as I have only one main drive, the other is mainly used for video rendering etc.

Ben.

Hi Ben .... "Intel Rapid Storage Technology"  is for those who run Raid systems primarily ..... but still has uses with those that run singe disc setups.

The last paragraph of this link explains it's use with single disc .....(NCQ)    ....    http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/imsm/sb/CS-020784.htm
