I've just build a htpc with my old mobo GA-G31-S2L. When the htpc is power up from sleep mode the BR drive LG BH10Ls30 (sata) is not recognized. If I restart the machine the drive is visible and in working state, it is also recognized in bios. I've already update firmware of the drive to 1.01. Please advise !

Are you using the latest BIOS for the motherboard? If not update it, here is the latest BIOS

Also, be sure you are using the latest Intel Chipset INF drivers, you can get those here, first link

If you continue to have issues you may need to start a support ticket with GIGABYTE, if you do that be sure you send them full specifications of your system including the model of the blue ray drive and the BIOS version you are using.

Be sure you have your main OS drive on SATAII_0, and your blue ray on the last port SATAII_3

Still the same problem, after I updated to the latest bios, latest INF file, connected BR drive to sataII_3. System is on sataII_0, but I have two HD-s in software raid (as dynamic disks). Only solution I can figure out is to put PC to hibernation instead to sleep, then the BR drive is recognized.

Hi refosk, ;)
I figure maybe i have a link between ''sleeping mode'' and ''parameters'' in Bios...
Maybe check in Bios ... in Power Management Setup...
Just a idea ...
F10f or F9 Bios... Have you tried with F9 Bios... Because de F10f is a beta bios... is not good normaly... is not official...
Media Player Classic: HomeCinema. http://sourceforge.net/projects/mpc-hc/files/ Have you tried with it...

I've tried with F9 bios but no luck, still not recognized after sleep. Will stay on hibernation.
