Hi. I cannot get the USB 3.0 Host Controller to work on my new mobo. Device Manager just keeps saying device cannot start. I've reinstalled the drivers, reinstalled Windows in both AHCI and IDE mode to no avail. I've checked for updates to both the BIOS and the driver and it's enabled in the BIOS. Is there a setting I'm missing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

- Ensure the device is enabled in BIOS.
- Completely remove the USB drivers and reboot; let Windows look for them. If Windows doesn't find any, let it install from the disc that came with the motherboard (don't use the disc's setup).

See if there is a more recent BIOS available that you could update to and if so use QFlash to run the update. Make sure that you untick the box for Keep DMI Data on the QFlash homepage.
Also make sure that you uninstall the chipset drivers before installing the latest version of them too.
