Title: help with apps not launching/updating with windows 7 64 bit

as the title says, i know there is an ongoing issue with amd fx series having most of steam games crashing(straight to BSOD) and confirmed that gigabyte has the update already.

problem is that i downloaded the bios( the beta one) i won't launch or install at all, neither on q-flash mode.

i got a suggestion that i could install the bios using the @bios software. problem is that being a 64bit system, the app doesn't even launch.

im kind of at lost here. i need help, thank you in advance.

Hi and welcome.

I think your first step should be to double check the motherboard model number and revision. Then return to the website and make sure that you have downloaded the correct files. All those applications should work.

it's on my sig. other games are working fine. it's just that i can't find a way to update my bios using windows 7 64bit to fix that issue with steam games.

i used 32bit with this rig before, all the updates are working fine i just dont see why it's not letting me update with 64bit.
