This IS my First Post, I am having problem with my A75 Fusion controller hub 19 pin motherboard headers Only working for charging, NOT working at all when you plug in a usb 2.0 or 3.0 device, these ports do not show up on device manager in windows 7 64 bit home premiun. I have service pak 1.
What is wrong? I have on the tech line with gigabyte and they are not much help.
Have I got a bad board? software bug? EVERYTHING ELSE WORKS FINE,
here is my RIG
Liano A8-3850 APU
Gigabyte GA-A75-UD4H motherboard
Sliverstone precision 6 case
Windows 7 home premium 64 bit service pack 1
OCZ 120 GB SATA III SSD VERTEX 3
THE etron controller rear usb 3.0 ports work fine. JUST THE FRONT A75 FUSHION CONTROLLER HUB USB 3.0 PORTS ARE DEAD, THEY ARE ENABLED IN THE CMOS
Please help, my tech level is mid range with weak area in software and files
THANK YOU AND REGARDS, TURBODAVE38

Hi and welcome.
From what you say only the front USB3.0 ports are dead everything else works fine is that it in a nutshell ?
If so then make sure that the front USB3.0 ports are physicaly connected to the motherboard header.
Next make sure that you have the drivers loaded.
Check to see if the ports are working on the rear panel USB3.0 (blue).
Try a "normal" USB2.0 drive in the front USB3.0 ports to see if it works.

Correct , My amd usb 3.0 drivers for A75 FCH (fusion controller hub) were NOT installed, When I installed the AMD Catalyst I checked the CUSTOM INSTALL box instead of THE EXPRESS Install, When I reinstalled the drivers I checked the Express installed and low and behold I saw the message installing usb 3.0 drivers) when the program loaded, Just as simple as that. EVERTHING WORKS OK NOW.
Thank you for your interest and advice, Regards TurboDave38
