Title: Z68X UD3R B3 - Can't shutdown - applecharger.sys & reboot
Post by: Duke_nut on February 09, 2012, 03:20:34 am
Hi Everyone.
I recently bought a Z68X UD3R B3 Motherboard.
It has a problem.
When I go to shut the machine down, it goes to "Blue Screen", complains about a program called "applecharger.sys" and reboots to the Windows screen that says "Windows did not shutdown normally".
Does anyone know what this about ?

Thanks,
Reg.

          Welcome Duke_nuts

AppleCharger.sys, It's a driver so the motherboard can charge Apple hardware such as iPhones or iPods.

Remove it or update it ... It may have been inadvertently been installed (driver) with a phone package maybe
