Title: ga-870a-usb3 BSOD when copying across network
Post by: astrok on February 13, 2012, 11:19:46 am
Hi,

Running a 965BE processor on a GA-870A-USB3 (rev 3.1). I've found that when I copy files across my local network I regularly get BSODs in Windows 7 32bit.  I've updated to the latest LAN drivers with no impact. I've disabled the onboard LAN and with a plug-in gigabit NIC it's stable. Is this a known problem?

Thanks

What program are you using to copy the files across the network. There are a few out there that have problems i use unitmatl 64 bit and the wife uses 64 bit home premium and the first program i used caused that same problem.

It's just a file copy from one share on another computer on my home LAN to the local computer..

I dont have that problem on mine but its windows 7 64 bit home and ultimate but shouldnt make a difference as long as bot are windows 7 i always had problems on xp or vista.. As for a known problem not that i have read about in the forums. You can wait for a moderator to answer or you can contact gigabyte tech assist and see what they have to say. Might take a day or 2 to get an answer thru assist if they have alot of emails but i have been answered in as little as 4 hours before also.
