Title: Lose BIOS setting if the power go off

Sorry fo r my english.
I've an X58A UD7 rev 2.0
I've an problem if the power go off or if i put off the power supply, in this case the BIOS loses the settings (yes i know that i can save the BIOS profile... and anyway it is still boring and my money was very good when they have taken from my credit card.
I changed the battery and I put a new one but the problem remains.
Some time ago i send an email to Gigabyte tech support and they said just to change the battery ... but the problem remains.
The other day I wrote back to support (because I had another problem about to SSD HD) and I added my problem again about the BIOS in the email ... but ... have not responded.

Anyone  had the same problem?

Hi and welcome.

If you have changed the battery on the motherboard for a new CR2032 and you are still losing the BIOS settings make sure that you haven't got the switch on the rear panel stuck in or jammed. The one that is marked CLR CMOS. If you check that and it is in the correct position then I think that you need to go back to your retailer and RMA the motherboard.

Yes the Reset switch in back panel  it's free not stuck... I've use it just last yestarday because i've another BIOS problem (i think that this mobo have many many probs)

You can try to check for continuity between the switch's pins; two of them should be shorted at all times, assuming it works just like the jumper.  If its broken, the battery will be disconnected. 

Check with a voltmeter first; don't check resistance with power applied; remove power & battery.
