Title: 880gma-USB3 Blue Screen on games

I have an AMD FX4100 CPU and on CEG protected games I always have a BSOD when I start up the game. I was wondering if GIGABYTE have released a fix in any specific dirver or BIOS updates. I'm reluctant to do anything with my BIOS so I need to know if this has been fixed before I proceed.

Hi there,

it is very hard to know exactly what has been addressed in BIOS updates and the only ways of finding out are either to ask Gigabyte Tech support directly ( http://ggts.gigabyte.com/tech.asp?ClassID=2&Country=U.K.&SourceWeb=B2C ) or bite the bullet and update the BIOS to find out if it actually fixes the issue.

If you have never flashed the BIOS before it can seem a little intimidating but, if you use the QFlash utility it is fairly easy to do. Check here for how to update the BIOS: http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php/topic,2441.0.html using QFlash.
