My CDROM Drive is not working from my GA-X58A-UD3R mobo.
it doesnt open or close.
ive tried installing latest bios
ive tried resetting cmos and bios
bios still doesnt recognize it
what can I do to fix this?

OS Hard drive on SATAII_0
CD/DVD drive on SATAII_5
Always start from Optimized Defaults in the BIOS, then save/apply/reboot BACK to the BIOS. Then once in the BIOS again set your SATA settings required for windows, then anything else you need to adjust like memory voltages, ect then save/apply/reboot to windows.
That should sort it out for you. Otherwise, are you certain it works, did you test in another machine or was you just using it on another computer?
