Title: CPU compatibity, Gygabyte GA-G41MT-USB3

i just purchased the Gygabyte GA-G41MT-USB3 and can't get past post.
Could this be because my e2220 2.4gz intel petium dual core is not compatible?

Hi .

Your processor is compatible with your motherboard from the first release of the BIOS so that shouldn't be the problem.

Perhaps if you listed all your hardware by make and model we might be able to throw some light on it.

And please explain further what you mean by can't get past post.  Does that mean you can't boot to an OS, or can't install an OS?  Or does it mean you can't post at all, or can't even enter the BIOS?   

Is the board starting at all, if so does it stay running, or does it reboot in cycles?  Do you hear any error beeps, if so what are they?  If not, please install a case speaker so you can hear the beeps if there are any.
