Does anyone know if this board will get 3 tb hdd support.

Yes, if you can't be sure by looking above, please give us your exact motherboard model and then we can tell you.

Hi, Thanks guys. 
I used the patches and have the drive running at 2tb plus 1tb.

Sorry for the typo the mobo is X58-UD5 rev 1.0.

I have been advised by Gigabyte that after installinh bios F13 to reinstal Win7 x64 and I will be able to format the 3tb as a single partition.
so after a very late night I have reinstaled the os but it is still seeing the 3tb as only 2tb usable, I know this is due to NTFS but in Disk managment it is not offering the alternative file system (can't remember it title) to set the drive up.
Have any of you done this yet if so how did you do it.
