With the knowledge that BIOS flashing can potentially damage the system, why are the BIOS "release notes" (if you want to call them that) so vague? The new F10 BIOS for my board (GA-X79-UD3) says "Increased Compatibility", that is it, 2 words. How am I suppose to know what they increased compatibility for? Wouldn't it be wise if you are going to have such high level danger warning on a procedure to have a very well written, thorough release note for each BIOS you put out so the user has an idea if it will correct his problem or not?

Hi,
I couldn't agree more and is something I, along with many other users, have complained about on this and other forums.

Yes agreed! We have often moaned and groaned about this but nobody seems to listen. A lot of companies are not as good as they could be in this area but I would have to admit that Gigabyte is one of the worst and that is not having a knock at them in any way. I do feel that a little more time and trouble could be taken to give a better idea of what was included.
