Title: Please Help! GA-P67A-UD3-B3 USB 2.0 issues
Post by: Mingle on April 07, 2012, 02:35:18 pm
Hi!

I have, for a while now, been experiencing my usb devices  ( which are just my mouse and keyboard) losing connection for a second or two randomly.  At first I just put up with it and was like oh I'm sure its nothing really until the other day when they both dropped simultaneously and then would not reconnect.
The motherboard I am using is the Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3-B3
I've tried everything possible in PowerManagement as well as disabling usb 3.0 which i (dont use anyway)
It's not my mouse and keyboard either because I have since replaced them  to no avail
I am sure it is a power issue as well as its becomes more frequent when im playing games or doing alot of things at once.
I have run out of ideas on how to fix it some help would be hugely appreciated!
Cheers Mingle

Hi and welcome.

Please can you post a list of components in your system.

Possibly you are right and it may be down to a power issue but without knowing more about what you are running I am just shooting in the dark.

Ok so now you are running Windows7 64bit again. Try not to alter things as each time you can bring in more variables to the equation. Please just try using a single stick of memory in the first slot and then remove any extra items that are not 100% required for the system to work. You should have just psu, mobo, cpu, hsf, ram, graphics, buzzer, hard drive, keyboard and mouse. Boot and see how things go.
