Title: am2+ compatible mainboard

hy,
 
  I want to buy a new socket am2+ compatible mainboard for at least a 95w processor
and with HT3.0. to use with my Opteron 1354.
  Obviously at this point they are mostly extinct from the market, at least new.
  My hope is that maybe one for am3 which i found and there are still avalable is
backwards compatible with am2+.
 
So there is:
 Gigabyte 880GM-D2H
 Gigabyte MA78LMT-S2
 
If someone knows that they are compatible with am2+ or know any other gigabyte am3
mainboards that are please post a message.

Hi there,

not sure what is available for you in Romania but neither of the motherboards you have mentioned will support your CPU.  :'(

And looking through the CPU support list here: http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support.aspx I couldn't find any that supported your processor at all.

 I only have to find out one that works with AM2+.
 The opteron series of processors 12.xx is for am2 and 13xx for am2+
and am3. The agesa code is available in bios but the motherboard
have to meet the requirements.   
   there are some am3 mainboards that are compatible with am2+
processors because at this point new am2+ i didn't find.

 More than likely a am2+ compatible mainboard it will work with my cpu.
At this moment i have tried it on two motherboards, the one i have is only ht2.0
and i need ht3.0 and the other i have tried identified the processor but stated
that is over 95w and shuts down.Although the processor is not over 95.
