Hey guys,
I am planning to buy Gigabyte 2GB GeForce GTX 680 OC Windforce 3X and i wanted to ask if the evga 680 back-plate will fit this card?

Can't see why not, also you do realize it has 2 6x8 pwr connectors & not the standard 6x6? So hope you have a PSU that can handle this.
Also are you using air or water cooling in your case as there may be some space issues if you use water.
From what I have seen this is one cool card.
Let me know how it works out, plus how about an insight into what type of system you are running?

Yeah i'll be fine got Corsair PSU with 6 8-pin connectors xD
I'll be using air cooling got a modified case should move plenty of air out.
Well the card is still on pre-order i did buy just waiting for it to be in stock basically and my system:
