Title: ET6 GA970A-UD3
Post by: QWIKSTRIKE on May 07, 2012, 01:52:07 pm
I have the GA970A-UD3 mobo with a AMD 960T, and I can't get ET6 to run. When I installed it from this site or tried to install off the disc it gives me a failed to install flash 11 error

Hi there,

personally I wouldn't use ET6 and if you are thinking of overclocking it is much better to do this through the BIOS than through a Windows program.

That said it should work.
Which OS are you running?
Are you sure you're downloading the correct version of ET6? The latest can be downloaded from here: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3907&dl=1#utility for your system.

EDIT: Forgot to say that ET6 might actually be working OK. Check the taskbar (near the clock) to see if it is running, as it defaults to a minimised view and has caught a lot of users out in the past because of this.

As absic said even when working poroperly often it is sat in the tray. Make sure that you have the latest version of the BIOS and ET6.
