Hello!
I have got this motherboard: Gigabyte GA-8N-SLI (http://ee.gigabyte.com/products/page/mb/ga-8n-sli_11/download/ (http://ee.gigabyte.com/products/page/mb/ga-8n-sli_11/download/)) (I don't know if it is version 1.0 or 1.1) (but not "pro" or "quad royal" version)
Other system specifications:
PCU: Intel Pentium D (dual core) 2,66GHz
RAM: 2GB
Graphic card: Ati radeon 5770 1GB
OS: Windows XP pro 32bit
Now, I would like to install Windows 7, but I don't find any chipset drivers for Gigabyte GA-8N-SLI. -Just for XP or older. Even not for Vista.
Obviously there is no drivers for W7.
Is there possible, that I install drivers for Windows XP and it will works for W7?
Or can you please find any page for me, where drivers for W7 could be... Or just for W Vista.
I was reading on some pages about some north and south bridges of this mother board. On this page (down), there is said something about my mobo http://www.neowin.net/news/nvidia-nforce-version-1500-for-vista, but I don't know if it is it.
Chipset has:
North Bridge:
NVIDIA® nForce4 SLI Intel® Edition
South Bridge:
NVIDIA MCP04
Marvell 88E1111 Gigabit LAN PHY
Realtek ALC850 AC'97 Audio Codec
-----> Can somebody explain me, that is it about? Is it the same if I install drivers from motherboard page or in pieces from pages of Nvidia, Realtec etc...?
Is there any other way, to have W7 on this configuration?
Thanks a lot for your help, people! :)
