Post by: donetello on May 08, 2012, 08:36:06 am
Running an I7 920 D0 on the above board with a prolimatech Megahelems cooler twin Silent Eagle fans in push pull config. The fans are now constantly noisy and bios shows they are running at 1896  RPM and don't drop below this at all,Its not overclocked at the moment,PSU is a corsair HX 850.Board fault perhaps ?.If someone could check thier CPU fan speed on this board that would be great thanks

Yes it's always clean, the only time it runs normally is when the bios smart fan setting is on voltage,it then runs around 1050 rpm set in Auto or pwm it goes beserk and runs flat out around 1900 rpm.
