I can use the FX 8-CORE 8120 in the GA-890GPA-UD3H rev.2.1?


Already I looked for in the forum but I did not find reply.

Hi ,

You can use Bulldozer with the latest beta BIOS GA-890GPA-UD3H rev.2.1 ,or at least this was Gigabyte s statement along the BIOS release notes some months ago (they have deleted that ).

The problem is that some features will be missing and that the BIOS being a beta has been reported to have some issues regarding memory compatibility.

I would advice you to either contact Gigabyte for some newer beta BIOS ,either to buy a new motherboard.

Good CPU choice over there ,i m personally surprised by it s little brother FX 4100 right here :)
