ive just bought it.

and have two questions.

1. what is VGA Tools -- @BIOS do i need this one and what is it? ive just installed latest drivers from amd.com

2. why does the fan run at 39% when on idle? it should be lower i think?

Hi,
I have HD7770C and I just use the Easy Boost utility to check the card and upgrade the bios. It's very easy to use and more versatile than @Bios.

I see that your card doesn't have a new BIOS download listed yet [unlike mine] so wouldn't think that function is urgent for you but the Easy Boost has other uses and suggest you use it.
