Title: Gigabyte E350N-USB. HTPC crashing while scanning for channels using TBS 6981

Hi,

Recently built a HTPC and now everytime i scan for channels using DVB Dream or WMP it crashes and the machine re-boots.

I've updated the BIOS, this had made no difference.

I only have a 250w PSU, some people have mentioned this might be the problem? It also makes no difference using the power cable attatched to the satellite card either.

Any ideas?

Have tried stress testing programs like Prime95 to test CPU?

MemTest to test RAM.

What ram are you using?  Model number and Manufacturer plz.

Model number and manifacturer of PSU.

ps. 250Watts should be plenty for that system.
