Just give me honest opinions on the board and if it's worth my money.
-
first, what are you using it for and what parts you plan on putting on it?
-
My signature is all my specs. Just a fairly cheap rig.

I don't have any experience with that board, but I have the 970A-UD3 with is very similar and it has worked great for me and my FX-8120. So I'm sure it will be fine. If you plan to over clock and you can afford it, I'd recommend the 970x series as they have better overclocking options and better cooling solutions for the motherboard.

Thank I'm ordering it today. Hopefully no DOA!!!

Make sure it has the most recent update for bulldozer support or it may not even boot up to flash a new BIOS.
if you have a spare older AM2/AM2+/AMD3 CPU to boot with, then you can flash for support.

I dont have a spare chip such as that, is there any way i will be able to start it up, or am i going to have to cross my fingers for the update F6?

If it s the new version of D3 , with VRM heatsink most probable will work out of the box.
Most probable you will not have problems with the CPU recognition but you will need to update the BIOS for the CPU to work properly though.
I would personally recommend the UD3 version to be frank ,better CPU supply on the board :)
