Title: Gigabyte Z68MX-UD2H-B3 USB3.0 Drive hangs at splash screen.

Hi,

I have Gigabyte Z68MX-UD2H-B3 running Hackintosh, if I plug my USB3.0 external drive in the USB3.0 the PC hangs at Gigabyte Bios Screen.

There are no issues plugging in drive after boot.

Can anyone help please?

i think  youu need upgrade driver for bios and chipset.  if this wont helps   forget it. gigabyte is falling neck and head. they go make good motherboards but  they love to die fast.

you can try  check that drive on other computer , if problem is not  coming then its your  computer, if problem occurs  then its drive problem

UPDATE SOLVED:-

Just to let you know I updated firmware from F12  to F13 so far so good the motherboard now boots with USB 3.0 drive inserted. :)
