So I updated my BIOs to the recently released UEFI version and now I'm getting a blank screen. When powered on, I see the new UEFI BIOS screen for a second (seems a little stretched on my screen), see a blinking line for a second and then the screen just stays blank. My monitor is still receiving a signal as it doesn't completely power down but nothing happens. I've left the screen on for 10 minutes with nothing, can't get into BIOs, tried jumper on the mobo. I'm lost now and I'm guessing it's bricked. Yay.
Nothing out of the ordinary when I flashed it. Loaded optimized settings in old BIOs, used a bootable USB with flashefi, unplugged cord and powered on as the screen instructed after writing finished. Any ideas?
Also, did the update erase my backup BIOS?

No,is not bricked.Unplug unnecessary USB device.
Try to clear CMOS or off/on PSU.
Your Backup BIOS are still Award.

Started replacing parts and found out it was the HDMI port on my video card (XFX 6870 single fan) causing the problem. I thought maybe the TV was activated and it was showing on the other screen but just being plugged in was an issue I guess. Unplugged and everything worked fine. Just a heads up if anyone runs into something similar.
