Hello !
I recently tried to reassemble a PC using a X58A-UD3R motherboard, an Intel Core i7 920 CPU, kingston DDR3 triple channel RAM and a gtx 560Ti Video card. PSU is a Corsair TX950W, tried with 3 Corsair Models...same thing. Trouble is after i try to power it on i get looped restarts and a series of indication led's.
- The SB Voltage blinks red before restarting
- Phase LEDs all light
- And a series of Green/Yellow/Green/Yellow from the DDR voltage ones
Any ideas?
Thanks

:) This must be a serious thing. All is want to know is if i can still use the motherboard. Thanks

Should i try to do something to the mobo or use it as a carpet? What's up with those LED's ? Thank you

Help....?!

When you reasembled the PC did you go into Bios abd load optimised defaults? And then did you set the correct voltages for your ram? Did you try flashing the bios?

Hello Fatman and thank you for stopping by to help me !
This motherboard was given to me from a friend! When i tried to assemble a PC, all i could get was looped restarts, and that series of LED's flashing. I could not go into Bios to load the optimized defaults, and i think the bios WAS flashed to ver. FF! What happened before i got it i have no ideea.
What i want to know if that it is still fixable? (and if so ...what to do)
Thanks again !

This happens in some Intel systems ,loops or cold boot issues.
Some have this some don t.
It could be related to the chipset or to the CPU.
This is one of the reasons i avoid Intel ;D

Still, can the motherboard be saved somehow!?

Hi
I think that you need to take a more logical approach to the faultfinding on this board if you are to find a cure.
Firstly have you got a buzzer/speaker attached and if so what beep code do you get when booting ? If you haven't got one then get one and post back with the answer.
