Hello,
I have a exhaust fan connected to "Sys_Fan2" and I don't think it is running at full speed.
How would I increase the speed?

Hi .
I am, afraid that SYS_FAN2 on all Gigabyte motherboards is made to run at half speed by default. I can't say why this is done but every board I have come across is configured this way. The only way around it is to draw the fans power direct from the PSU or use another header.

How Strange... So the fact that it has an extra pin doest mean that I can control it?
So if use "Sys_Fan3" above it, will that run at full speed?
I also have a Intake fan in "Sys_Fan1" that ok?

Correct and you can use the other header but don't overload it. There is a one amp maximum load on it.

Cheers!
It's running faster now :)
Last question. If a Fan is connected directly to a Molex connector does that mean it will always run at speed?
-
If you connect it directly then yes it will run at the full speed of the fan whatever that happens to be. You can of course add an inline resistor to drop the voltage and slow the fan down or even use a potentiometer to vary the resistance giving you variable speed. Basically a fan controller.
