Title: Is Hi Definition Audio Bus required?

I uninstalled the Realtek Audio bus and drivers since I use other soundcards because of some issues I suspected were related to the Realtek drivers. Is there any reason the Hi Definition Audio Bus would need to be there if you don't use the onboard audio?

I'm not sure if it's in every Bios but most have a option to disable the onboard audio.

Not sure if that would resolve it unless you have already tried that?
