Hi,
I own a GA-970A-D3 motherboard and an AMD FX series CPU. Recently I had to update the BIOS in order to play Counter Strike: Global Offensive without getting blue screens, crashes, and low fps etc..
After I updated my BIOS with @BIOS software, I noticed that there was a notepad file called "bios" on my desktop. I am a complete noob and I was wondering if I can remove this file? Or should I leave it be?
Thanks for your time and the stuff in the notepad was pretty long so..it looks something like this
motherboard_driver_chipset_amd_7series-v2.0_xp64.exe

What you did was make a back up bios file and it saved to that spot if your computer is working fine delete it if you want or put it in your documents folder just in case. File is really small so wouldnt take any space up at all. Me if i flashed it right and its doing good would get rid of it but thats just me. Since you dont need tech support you wont need to show it to them as it is only a notepad file and not the actual back up bios.

Yes I too would just get shot of it. It isn't really much use to you and is just another piece of clutter.
