I'm running Windows 7 on my new X58 Rig and I'm having a very annoying problem. My system won't completely shut down on its own. The OS seems to mostly shut down and the monitor goes into standby mode, But, the case fans, and possibly hard drives, keep going indefinitely. I noticed that there are a lot of people with ASUS boards reporting the same problem with limited suggestions. Is there any way around this problem, or am I stuck waiting for new BIOS?

I updated to f3g and the problem still persists.

I have the same board with same problem.
shut down the os and the monitor turns off and fans and lights stay on wait 5-15 mins will power down all the way
only way i found so it shuts down strate away is to turn the raid to ide and it shuts down
soon as i put it back in raid it wont shut down again
Bit of a pain when running 1x ssd for OS and 2x 250GB for apps drive in (RAID 0)
