Title: GA-MA790XT-UD4P second hardrive

i have GA-MA790XT-UD4P put as sata 2 ssd in but i decided to put my Weston Digital Hardrive in as a secondary backup for my windows system everything was fine but when the pc posts it says ide drive for my backup drive i have no other drive listed at post even tho my ssd boots but pc working perfectly

Picyutres are cute but not helpful in that i believe you about the problem. Pictures of settings in bios would be better. In order to further help you What sata 3 ports are the SSD and the hard drive plugged into.  How do you have bios configured is it ACHI, sata, IDE. If bios is configured right it should show both hard drives upon startup.

So all i can tell you is what you have isnt the normal and something is off, What is off with the information given i cant tell. Even with the pictures from speccy as system info is great but it isnt what is needed as it has more to do with bios than system.

sorted thanks t took the side of my case of and i had it pluged into gigbayte sata at the top of the board now my drives are as atch mode

Yes but during post my drive aren't detected
 
IDE MASTER : NONE

And so on but is detected when achi.option displays on screen is this normal
