Hi
I have been using this motherboard for 7 months with no problems, one day last week BSOD. After checking various bits I found that DIMM slot 1 seemed to be causing the problem. I am running 2 pairs of Corsair twin2x4096-8500c5d matched Dominator chips. The motherboard runs fine with 4\ 6gb installed but will not boot with the 8 gb installed. I have run mem86 and all is fine until I use DIMM1 when I get many errors. I have interchanged the memory in DIMM1 and get the same results.
Any help would be appreciated.

hi,Yyou cannot run more than 4gig of memory with a 32 bit O/S, even that will only show as 3.5 gig
due to windows limitation to 4gig.
cheers

Hi
I forgot to mention that I run a duel boot system the second one being 64 bit. But that should not make any difference anyway, the PC should boot up with all Dimm slots filled but mine will only boot if I do not use slot1. The board has worked fine with 8 gig installed using 32 and 64 bit O\S.
