Title: G41M-ES2L has a high pitched hum on the audio
Post by: graysky on December 11, 2009, 02:06:33 pm
If I have speakers or headphones plugged into the lime green audio out on this board, there is a high pitched hum at all times.  Does anyone else?  Is this normal or should I RMA the board and try another?

Update: this appears to be a problem with oss, not the motherboard.  Seems if I check the "mix1-mute" button the tone goes away.

Are speakers definatly okay? Are you using latest BIOS revision and drivers?
