Post the full configuration ,see the sticky.
Maybe there is some incompatibility.

No all my components are compatible and seem fine on other systems
I looked in my event viewer and keep getting a warning on
AMD_sata. it says the raid port0 was issued.
im not getting any critical entries at all
and the only other error I get software wise is amd fuel, which has something to do with the Catalist software

Use Microsoft AHCI drivers instead ,or change the driver see if the issue goes away. Also change the ports to which you connect your HDD and the cable..
My guess is that the Catalyst error may come from Catalyst version over 12.1 ,they have changed some driver for the over-clocking section and Catalyst doesn t find it :0
If you have 6xxx series or 5xxx video cards series reverting to Catalyst 12.1 should make that error go away.
To bad you can t tell us the HDD-s you are having issues with.
