Title: Correct Bios?
Post by: bailmeout on September 30, 2012, 06:06:28 am
Hi all,

Worried I have the wrong bios and card was sold to me 'returned'

N670OC-2GD

On the bios downloads page the 80.04.31.00.58 range should be within F4.
Now both nvidia inspector and gpu-z list my bios as 80.04.31.00.58.
What's strange is when I backed up the original bios the card came with, just to be safe it shows me GV-N670OC-2G.F12
Used Gigabyte VGA@Bios utility.

Checked out some benchmarks and I seem to match some but way off in some.

Here's  what I am talking about

Gigabyte support haven't looked at my ticket yet and I'm worried to continue using the system.

Anyone else ran into this problem?

If it helps my system specs are:

Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz
64GB Crucial M4
Asus P8P67-PROV3
Corsair HX-850 850W
Gigabyte nVidia GTX670 2GB OC
Windows 7 Home Premium x64
G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB 1600MHz

Much appreciated.
