Hi,
I'm having issues with my pc not booting up correctly.
It goes to the options menu (choosing to enter BIOS, etc) but then powers down straight after that. When turning the power on it's like it takes 3 attempts to get going again properly but as I said it powers down again shortly after.
My motherboard is a GA-P61-USB3-B3 and while I've read about resetting the CMOS using the jumper or/and removing the battery this hasn't seemed to have worked or atleast I have no idea of knowing whether this worked.
The problem occurred after installing the f11 version of the BIOS.
I was wondering If I could get some help on this issue or if this means my motherboard is ruined or not?
One final question is do GIGABYTE have a UK supposrt service other than by email, or if there is any place I could send it to be looked at?

Hi and welcome.
From what you have posted it seems to be the BIOS update that has caused the problems. Did you follow our instructions in the FAQ to do it ?
It is probably best if you return to the original one at least for now.
To restore the Main BIOS by flashing from the Backup BIOS you simply follow these steps but be aware timing is crucial so it may take a few attempts.
You can kick in the backup BIOS by shutting down the PSU from the wall, then hold down your case power button in and then turn on the power supply button, a few seconds later the board will start, shut off the power supply then. Then you can turn on the power supply again and power up the board normally and DualBIOS will kick in.
