Title: Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H
Post by: greshoff on October 06, 2012, 08:56:07 pm
 Bios
1. I have just installed this motherboard,Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H, Intel Z77, S 1155, DDR3, SATA III - 6Gb/s, SATA RAID, PCIe 3.0, D-Sub/ DVI-D/ HDMI, ATX. BIOS version F15. When I try to set the date I cannot set the correct date. The closest I can get is Sunday 6 10 12 when the correct date should be Saturday 06 10 12. The BIOS date says 7 10 12 which is tomorrow which cannot be correct. How can I correct this?

2. My USB keyboard is not seen by bios, ie if I press delete nothing happens. If I use a ps/2 keyboard I am able to enter bios. How can I use my usb keyboard?

3. When I try to install windows I get the following:

Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks

This is new to me and not sure how to resolve this issue.
I would like to use MBR if possible.

6. THere is no post beep. The internal speaker is plugged in

Any help resolving these issues would be much appreciated

Regarding the keyboard, make sure you are using the USB 2.0 ports. The 3.0 ports will not work until after the drivers are installed.

In the BIOS Boot options change UEFI to just SATA.
