Hey guys,
I got a GA-Z68XP-UD3 with a I7 2600k which is on 32nm and I want to put a GTX 670 PCIE3 graphic card. I know that you have to have a 22nm procesor with PCIE3 instruction on it to use the graphic card at PCIE3. My question is how much I lose in performance using my setup, the one with 32nm procesor.
Thanks in advance!
Mihai

The performance loss at this time between PCIE2 and PCIE3 is only a few frames from my understanding, so you are not missing much at all.

Hi
I too would agree with Fatman that in terms of pure perfomance there is not a great deal of difference at the moment. It will be more noticable as more software is written to make use of it. Also DirectX will make more use of the newer PCIE3.0 .
