Right, to be honest, I am a little lost at the moment, I have a Gigabyte GA Z68AP-D3 (http://"http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3897#ov") motherboard, and i want a new graphics card for Xmas.
But here is my question, my motherboard specs say my motherboard (http://"http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3897#ov") is PCI3 3.0 ready.....
Is my motherboard capable of supporting a gigabyte GTX 660ti or a gigabyte GTX 670, if it is which card is going to be very good, I do game quite a bit, and my current card is a gigabyte GTX 560ti (384 cores version).
So basically, my question is this, will a GTX 660ti or a GTX 670 work with my baord, can anyone see any problems, and is there gonna be any "bottlenecking"
Is PCIe 3.0 backward compatible to PCI 2?
Will what I am thinking work?
Is my motherboard capable of supporting a GTX 660ti or a GTX 670?
I really need advice on this one.
