Title: GA-Z77X-UD3H SATA OUT OF SERVICES

Hi Dear all,

I have GA mobo the GA-Z77X-UD3H, seans a week I have OS freez screan when I eboot avrything goes right, till yesterday when I have re started my PC they give me a message like I don't have HDD even no DVD drive. I have tryed to change the HDD nothing happend the SATA port the same problem I have Updated the Bios to F17 nothing too... the bios dont reconise the pluged perifirc .... any solution for this problem .... did anyone get this problem ?? please hellp

GA-Z77X-UD3H with I7 K3770 3.5
ATI 7770   8gig RAM
2 To HDD MAXTOR / Samsung DVD

Hi and welcome.

I expect that your problem stems from the changing of the storage mode in the BIOS. Depending on which mode you used to install Windows you will need to set it to the same mode again. Maybe AHCI or IDE. Often this follows a BIOS update or similar operation where the settings get changed.

I did not tuch the bios config ... I used the default seting and I have made sevrel reste to factory seting and rest CMOS I have the same problem USB run noormaly but sata NO :( I'v updated the bios to F17 and I have the same ... i trayed to change to IDE Alwayse the same problem can this be a hardwar problem ? the ships or somthink like that ?

Much more likely a settings problem like I suggested.

I'V just tryed the both mode IDE & AHCI ... the drives (DVD & HDD ) are stil not detected on BIOS but I can start with USB Flash .... any sugestion ???  :'(

It might not be that they are not detected just not shown. Try clearing the CMOS and then loading the Optimised BIOS Defaults and then making any other changes too.

I'V just tryed Rthe both way to rest CMOS unplug all connectro and batry ... & Sw Cmos I have the same problem  the msg is " Reboot and select  proper boot divace" and have no divaice on Bios to select If I put USB the USB are Showen   :(  I have tryed the 6's SATA connectros ... and nothing happend ...

the Mobo code are A3 "Activated all curentelly IDE Devices"

Have you made sure that all necessary settings are enabled in the BIOS ?

Make sure the BIOS is up to date.

Try contacting GGTS for help.
